Sleep Apnea Treatment

My friends 5 year old son was riding in the car with us lastnight in a booster seat, he was sound asleep and every couple of minutes he would start banging his head back and forth about 6 or 7 times and then stop. About 5-10 mnutes later he would repeat. His father said he does this at home as well while in bed. The child did this for over an hour. Has anyone experienced this type of disorder?

In about 7 hours of sleep I wake up atleast 5 times. Usually during a dream because I remember them all. Is this racing thoughts or some other kind of mental illness disorder or a sleep disorder of some kind, or both or somthing else? Thanks for the help.

I have been diagnosed with Obstructive sleep apnea in Dec 06 after I went for a sleep study. Oxygen levels drop to 65% and stop breathng for 57 seconds 400 times a night. In January 2007 I went in for sleep to test pressure for CPAP and it is 8cmH20. I have received my cpap machine today and would like to know if i can use sleeping medication just to get used to this machine, cause dr actually told me that sleeping tablets made apnea worse.

cause supposedly i’ve been calling people while i’ve been sleeping. i dont know that im doing it while im sleeping but people have been telling me that i’ve called them in the middle of the night and ask them some weird questions. so i was just wondering if this is a problem other people have.
