First off, you really need to see an ear, nose throat doctor. it could be the cause of your sleep apnea. Fixing a deviated septum may help to open the nasal passages. A crooked septum can make breathing difficult. The condition also can lead to snoring and sleep apnea. The cpap is not going to help much.

Question by seeker: Hi, Can join the Australian Defense Force (Reserves) if you have Sleep Apnea & using a CPAP?
tks…
Best answer:
Answer by Gotta have more explosions!
The ADF have high medical standards in regards to sleep – sleepwalkers, insomniacs and overly lethargic people can be knocked back.
I imagine it’d be similar with your sleep apnea issues… can you get by without the CPAP? How dangerous or risky is it? In the Reserves, you’ll be away from home for up to 28 days at a time, and you can’t take it with you to Kapooka or generally out bush.

It varies a lot. Generally the more severe the sleep apnea, the sooner you will feel better. Don’t give up though. Sometimes it takes a month or more of regular use before you can actually feel the difference.
