And the surgery for her is risky due to her weight and her sleep apnea. Yes i am a christian and i believe in prayers but i cannot help but worry. The doctor has told me it is risky for her. how can i not obess and worry i will lose another child

I think anyone whose child is having surgery obsesses and worries even if they haven’t had the experience of losing another child. I would talk to the doctor about the statistical risks and benefits, and then keep close to the top of my head both the fact that the risks are probably very small and that you’re doing it to really benefit your daughter. I’d probably get a second and maybe even third opinion on risks and benefits, too. After that, I’d just worry and obsess. Maybe schedule it as soon as possible to cut down on the stressful time?
