Question by HRH: Doctor or Nurse Needed! What are some possible explanations for the multiple symptoms on left side of my body?
I’m 25/F Confirmed Diagnosis;I’m 5′6 350,I have; Arthritus (10mg 6x daily methadone),Sleep Apnea,High B.P. (Enalapril 10mg 2X daily),Restless Leg,Asthma,Lymphodema,Hyperhydrosis,Never ending pain in all joints, muscles, jaw. All of following worst on left side; Constant decreased sense of feeling/numbness every where worst from waist to under butt & inner thighs pelvic area,Stabbing/numbness in left back quadrant of head,Phsyically weak MUCH worse on left side.Had blood tests for cancer, liver, thyroid, adrenal, heart (adenesin test),cbc all good results, tests for blurry vision good as well however in dmv test where I had to answer as to which eye the blinking light was blinking in I had problems when it light blinked in left eye when the lights where nearing the middle towards my nose.) The chronic pain I’ve been told is mostly from my arthritus, however what is the relation of all the left side symptoms? Please offer you’r opponion so I can possibly help point my doc in right direction?
Note I had these same problems even when I was half the size I am now.
To the person that blamed me problems on “over eating”…That really hurt my feelings. You read my weight and assume that I am gorging on food when that is not the case. I have been monitoring my weight and been active in the last 2 years I have lost 100 (this year and the year before 75 with a total of 175lb). I think it is unfortunate that you made these asumptions, and to be quite honest really redicolus as I have never before been told this by any health professional (not even when i was at 525+ lb).
Melvana,Ty for you’r nice responce.I had these problems long before methadose. And before I got perscribed it I never heard of it being given for chronic pain either. However my pain mgmt doc uses it alot.

Question by : What do these symptoms mean?
For the past 3 months I have been off and on sick, usually around the same time of month, but not during my period. The symptoms are nausea, fatigue, diarrhea, low grade fever, chills, headache, bodyaches, joint ache, congestion, chest pain, and sometimes a racing or pounding heart. I do have anxiety, but during these occurrences I don’t feel anxious until the third or fourth day. The first month I was diagnosed with a virus, the second month I had a uti. I haven’t gone to the doctor yet because I can’t afford it due to no insurance and no job. I have looked up the symptoms on webmd but none of the causes explain all my symptoms. I was thinking sleep apnea because it usually occurs in the morning and disipates throughout the day. I am not pregnant. Any ideas?

Question by spaceranger2010: do these symptoms remind u of any illness that i may have? im extreamly worried…?
i love to sleep. i always sleep but i used to LOVE it lol. as sad as it may sound. but anyway…for as far back as i remember i would nap during the day. i didn’t HAVE to nap but i would. a 15-30 min nap would do wonders for me. but recently i have been HAVING to sleep and get tired during the day. i have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and use a treatment for that which they have tested on me and they say it works.
lately in the past few months ive just been extreamly exhausted. i need to take naps during the day or else i can’t function. i often get very sleepy while driving or sitting for more than 20 min. when i get home from work and school i have to take a nap which now lasts about 2 hours. its annoying that im always so tired because i have things to do and im just to exhausted to do them! i sleep about 6 hours a night and often when i sleep more the symptoms worsen. what can i do? do u think its diabetes??? im worried!
i was involved in a sleep study where i was able to get benefit from nose strip kind of things. they hooked me up and they work just like the CPAP maching, where they helped my breathing while asleep.
Best answer:
Answer by Susiecat A person with sleep apnea is not getting the restorative sleep necessary to function.
Are they treating you with what they call a CPAP machine?
Continuious Postive Air Pressure. Machine.
This machine keep you from stopping breathing for a few minutes{which people with sleep apnea do.
The they gasp for air and this machine keeps this from happening.
There is also a condition called Narclepsy which the person can be wide awake talking or drive and BOOM the just drop off to sleep!
These conditions need to be treated.!
It doesn’t sound like diabetes, you would be extremely thirsty, have to urinate quite often and start to lose weight.
You need to see your doctor again and keep check on your situation.
Or take part in sleep studies in a lab where sleep disorders are diagnosed and treated.

Question by Qwerty 123: How can this symptoms be treated? any vitamins? or natural medicine? any treatment?
When I go to sleep, sometimes I wake up and when I do wake up, I feel that i have no oxygen in my body, little dehydrated, catching for a breathe because I feel discomforted a lttle but. Sometimes I feel that i am little unconsious, not too dizzy though.. trying to get more oxygen by taking a deep breathe due to weird symptom.. I dont think it is sleep apnea because I am physically fit.. weight l40lbs and my height is 5 feet 6. if it is not sleep apnea? what would it be? feeling that I have no oxygen, taking a deep breathe to feel better? in my body? head? It occurs times to times these days? how can it be treated?
Best answer:
Answer by OOlala! Well, actually it could be sleep apnea. Just because you are in shape, doesn’t mean you don’t have it. It is more common in overweight people but not always. Do you know if you snore?
You should check on it because it could possibly be something related to your heart. Please don’t freak out but it’s not exactly the norm to be waking up with trouble breathing.
Most likely it’s sleep apnea but don’t freak out. HOwever you need to take of this because in recent studies, sleep apnea has been related to heart disease.
Just go see a physician/PA/NP ok? Please don’t worry too much.

Question by ron197192064: What is deviated septum, and what are symptoms? How to treat it?
is this what causes snoring or sleep apnea? is surgery only option and what does the surgery actually do, remove something?
Best answer:
Answer by bookreader ohio it is a condition where the septum blocks one side of the nose. surgery is probably the answer. you can try the nasal strips and see a difference in your breathing which should help snoring. good luck.
