Sleep Apnea Treatment

Question by andy: Chronic Bacterial Vaginosis- Symptom of another condition?
Last year May I was diag. with bacterial vaginosis and treated with a dose of 3 pills at one time. (I also had an abnormal pap & colposcopy which came out negative.) I did not feel right and went back recently. I was diag. with vaginosis again and was given Flagyl for 7 days. I saw my regular MD for the past month for other symptoms,after a urine test said I had a UTI and gave me a dose of Cipro (3 pills/3 days.) I have finished this dosing and still 2 weeks later know that I am not right. I am going to go back t the Gyn again for a 4th treatment. Before the summer I have never had anything like this not even a yeast infection.

I have been going to my MD for other symptoms such has palpitations, high blood pressure (145/100), dizzy spells, nausea spells, fatigue, headaches, ear infections, flushing, periods of low body temp (94 deg) and low pulse, night sweats, sleep apnea and brown spots on my back. Now Im just nervous that the bacterial vaginosis could be a sign something else??

you could be getting it from your man if he hasnt been treated either, i was told by my md that i had it about 15years ago and my husband got treated too

Bacterial vaginosis can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease(PID). If not treated early, causes infertility Visit a gynaecologist immediately.

bacterial vaginosis shows no evidence of vaginal inflammation. it occurs when pH of vagina increases or becomes alkaline. it could lead to a cases of premature births and low birth weight infants.

Question by Great Brittan: Is this a common symptom of central sleep apnea?
Can anyone with central sleep apnea or experience with central sleep apnea tell me if a common symptom is being startled out of sleep? For instance if someone wakes you up, rather than you waking up on your own, if you wake up panicked and gasping for air? Any input would be GREATLY appreciated =)

P.S. I currently have massive pressure in my head, wake up very startled, am exhausted all day, never feel rested and have a brain tumor in the Pons of my brain.
Actually I haven’t been to a doctor for regular sleep apnea yet. I’m trying to set up an appointment with my oncologist to see if she can refer me.

Panicked and gasping for air, falling asleep during the day, being tired all the time are symptoms of sleep apnea. Get yourself evaluated by a pulmonologist at a sleep center.
