What is the BEST nasal strip or other product for severe sleep apnea?

I’m trying to find something other than the Breath Right strip for my husband before I put a pillow over his head. Even if I go to bed before him, his snoring wakes me up. I don’t want him to always sleep in another room. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
-to use for now until he gets the CPAP machine….
