I also have the CPAP have had it now for about a year now. I never knew how sleep deprived I was. I have set it at 3.0 it helps from getting ear infection and clogged sinus. But each has his or her own setting that fits them. You might just need a few good nights of sleep also speak with the sleep people. I go in once a month and can change out certain portions of the gear. I clean it once a week. I have also found that i needed a nose pad so the bridge of my nose would not get so sore. I have taken the time every morning and make a daily log and print it out and take it in the clinic. It is sort of a diary of what is going on. They will ask just like going to the doctor and like most you have this blank that comes over you. If I have question or put them down I can turn that in and they can read over it and then ask or just keep it which they do and add it to my record.
Set some kind of a sleep pattern, you already have a set time of getting up but one has to get strict with oneself. Diet my help out some, working out during the day so you are ready for bed, shower and get all relaxed. But you over all best thing would speak with those at the sleep clinic get some up to date information from them.

: Husbands cpap mask makes farting noises, wont stay put.?
Hi all. My husband was recently put on a fullface cpap mask for his sleep apnea (mask goes over mouth and nose). He was fitted for it and he wears a medium. He wears it maybe 5 minutes and it starts making a “farting” noise. He says he adjusts it quite a few times but there’s always a spot that doesnt fit right and that’s where the air leaks, therefor starting the fart/squeal sounds. Does anyone know how to correct this or if there’s a better mask? The current one is a breathright i think. It has a gel lining around the mask also.
thanks
How’s the nose pads work? I’ve heard of them. The reason he needs the full face one is, he’s a mouth snorer. We’ve tightened straps, moved the forehead guard, nothing helps.

well he can tighten the straps or you can help by moving the mask till it fits him right, but sometimes the size is not right and there is nothing u can do, u can always ask ur health care provider or the respiratory therapist who helped u get it.

My eldest twin had a lot of problems with his ears, but also has Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Which is where he will stop breathing of a night for up to 15 seconds during the night. Although the seriousness of this is real, we are currently waiting for him to have an operation to fix the problem, which is really frustrating.
Usually when he stops breathing he wakes afterwards, but he never used to cry out, just roll over and go back to sleep. For the last 5 weeks he has been getting out of his bed and playing with his toys, then comes into wake up his Dad & I. Or worse he will scream endlessly. I am starting to get fed up!
We did change him from a cot to a bed about a month ago, thinking that was the problem, but it made him worse. We did put him back in the cot, but he climbs out now, and I would rather him climb out of a bed than a cot. Just incase he hurts himself.
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO KEEP HIM IN BED?? He is getting so grumpy from being tired and so am I.
