Question by Bubbers: Is an oxygen saturation (SpO2) of 69% while sleeping dangerously low?
I went for a Polysomnograph (sleep study) and it showed that I have Obstructive Sleep Apnea with Central Apneas as well. Doctor said I stop breathing about 45 times an hour, and said my pulse ox, at its lowest, was 69%. Is that like critically low??

Yes I would say so. Where I work anything under 92 requires supplement O2.

request majetn : In a person with sleep apnea, which causes increased falls and oxygen saturation of arterial blood during sleep? I am not overweight and not sleep apnea. It is a matter of biology. If I made a graph of oxygen saturation from the time of someone who has severe obstructive sleep apnea, while they slept, what led to saturation of going up and down over time? best answer:
