This sounds like a classic example of a BP Spike ( blood pressure spike ) The racing heart beat goe’s along with this. You being nervous over it and the heart races more.. You probably have high blood pressure and its on occasion spiking and going even higher.. This is your call to go see a doctor.. You need to see a doctor and get on meds or next time it happens go to the ER and they will tell you whats up..

Question by Candy Willington: Sleep disorder?! Maybe? Help!?
Hello everyone (: goodmorning. Ok so I think I have a sleep order., either that or I’m just being a…. Person who likes to stay up. Ok so for the past week or two I wud sleep around 7-8am. Right now it’s 9am second time I stayed up this late. I wake up around 5pm every day. And today Im not gonna sleep at all and hopefully I’ll crash tonight and my sleep cycle will be right, I highly doubt it tho. Anyway, what’s wrong with me? This is my opinion on sleep: it’s such a drag! I think it’s wayyyy to much to work to sleep!… Makes no sense right? Being asleep is nice and calming huh? Well it doesn’t help when i wake up mad cuz I’ve slept the day away, and having bad dreams, not night marens just unpleasant dreams, some r good but most r not.
I’m 12 years old and I’m a girl. I’ve been doing this for a couple weeks now. And I also did this last year…. When I was 11. Idk how I got back on track for school last year, but I did. But that’s not the point, I wanna be normal!!!!
My mom has insomnia, she takes ambien. That’s the only history of sleeping disorders in our family.. Only my mom. I think idk.
Anyway, what’s wrong with me?? I mean seriously! What is wrong with me???? I want to sleep but it’s too much work!! I have to wash my face and brush my teeth and stuff, but afterwards I’m not tired… Please help me. My mom thinks I have nothing to stress over so she doesn’t believe that it COULD be a sleeping disorder. Please help. Thank you! I’m 12 and a girl. Thank you.

Im 21 and I have had this same issue since i was 5

Here is my advice for sleeping (i think you are like me i think your just fighting it until it beats you and it will mess up your life)

one day stay up the way you normally do… then do whatever you have to to continue staying awake till 8pm

then turn off your t.v., stay away from your computer, and think of happy things things you want or like something that you want to experience more than anything in the world and hopefully when you awake into the dream world you get it…

you will them probably wake up aroun 4am – 8am and be back on track

personally i have been dealling with getting off my sleep track for awhile and usually i get off of my sleep track when i dont have work or school but when i was younger i would sleep through school and mess up my grades because of it…

most people would just call this
“syndrom” night owl, or stubborn sleeper… but im willing to bet that once you start to sleep a freight train couldnt wake you and, when a parent tries to wake you… well you probably want to cut their throats open..

when i was younger i used to have night terrors too and it made me afraid of the dark for a while too but if you do that practice i told you about thinking of nice positive things in a dark setting with the computer off and the tv off you should be in good hands

Hey i don’t know what to do, I’m such a heavy sleeper i sleep through three alarm cloths all out of reach on maximum volume. it wakes up my brother in the basement!. But i sleep right through it all and will sleep all day long. Today i actually slept through my whole shift at work, slept 13 hours. I don’t know what to do, is this a disorder or what?

Over The Counter sleeping pills do the trick for me, as I too suffer from stress and can’t sleep. Walgreens sells a over the counter pill called “sleep aid” you take 2 and it works like a charm, just make sure you have about 8 or 9 hours to devote to sleep!! Wal-Mart also sells a pill by the same name, give it a try!

Could you rephrase your question? It’s a bit difficult to understand.
