My husband has been experiencing sleep apnea. His medications are quite expensive that’s why I’m looking for something that might be less costly for his treatment. Anything that you know of please let me know. Thanks….

Sleep apnea increases your husband’s risks for early heart attack and stroke so you need to get this treated properly. Having a sleep study done will determine who severe his sleep apnea may be and insurance often will cover this cost. Sleeping on his side always will help, losing weight will help a great deal, daily exercise will help.

If you’re not going to give me a sincere answer than don’t bother! This is a serious condition and don’t need annoying people giving me stupid answers. I need actual answers. If you feel like giving me a stupid immature questions please don’t and grow up. This is not a chatting forum. If you want chatting go on yahoo messanger…thanks.
I’m only 28yrs. old and don’t want to be hooked up to a machine to help me breathe at night. My tonsils are abnormally big and removing them could very well solve my sleep apnea forever. My Surgery is scheduled for Aug 10th.

sleep apnea if it is proved that you must sleep during the study can be treated at night just by wearing a mask CPAP when sleeping. Although Chiropractor know that helping people with this problem.

I sometimes lie semi-conscious with the knowledge that I am struggling to breath. I often focus on sitting up or simply gasping for air but it’s like a dream where it just doesn’t happen. Is this a form of sleep apnea or is this something different?

It’s currently 3am My time. I havne’t been to sleep since the day before, so In other words I missed last night only and now I am onto the next with no sleep and I still can’t fall asleep. I do not take any drugs of any kind and I haven’t had a coffee for a bout a week now, I am a healthy male with no drug usage history and still I am laying here in bed and I just can’t fall asleep
This has never happend to me before. I have before missed a night of sleep but by next afternoon I would be falling a sleep standing as anyone would.. It feels like the longer I stay awake the more I think and when I’m thinking I just can’t sleep. it’s like a circul the longer I’m up the more reason I can’t sleep.. as I said laying here in bed really trying hard to fall a sleep but the harder I do the less of a chance I am able too,, I know mum says a hot glass of milk always helps her..I know I am tired but I don’t feel tired though I feel wierd, like a really loud truck has gone passed my ear, what do I do
