Why do you think people have daytime sleepiness . Do you feel it has to do with snoring and waking up several times in the nite. What illnesses come from your breathing stops in your sleep alot.

How dangerous is it? I have noticed my husband stop breathing and then gasping for air along with snoring.

Sleep apnea is not a psycholigical disease its a repiratory disease. It can cause insulin resistance without obesity.

I have enough trouble sleeping away from home, i cant imagine doing all strapped to wires and stuff.

Can I do an online preliminary test?

I sleep for around 8 hours a night, but I often wake up tired and have to hit the snooze button for over half an hour, and then spend the rest of the day tired. I also make periodic limb movements during my sleep (so I’ve been told).

It happens sometimes just before i lose conciseness and go to sleep. As i am drifting away to sleep i stop breathing and immediately wake up…Any thoughts about what could be wrong with me?

i told my parents i have sleep apnea but they don’t believe me. I told my dad but he ignored me and my mom said to just ignore it. I’m sick of having to deal with this and it really scares me that i might die and i’m only ten. Once i had a dream that the school was flooded with water and i tried to reach the top for air then i woke up and realized i wasn’t breathing. i have it for tons of times and sick of it not being treated
