Doctor wants me on a 1500 cal diet, border line High bp and mild thickening of the heart due to sleep apnea, but strenuous exercises (weights) gives me palpitations, Doc says if I don’t drop the Weight I can have heart attack in my 40’s I am 35 now, what should I do, I hate running, but love martial arts…

How do I increase the pressure on a RedMed Elite S7 cpap machine? I need help with my sleep apnea!?

I have a ResMed Elite S7 and my doc told me to turn the pressure up. Only problem is I can’t find the manual and the online version didn’t tell me how to do it.

I have enough trouble sleeping away from home, i cant imagine doing all strapped to wires and stuff.

My brother has been prescribed the CPAP and can’t tell much difference in his sleep. He is due to go for a checkup to the sleep clinic and doesn’t want to tell them this because he’s afraid they will make him go through another $1000 worth of sleep tests to adjust settings or something.

So if he can make the CPAP thing work better without having to tell the docs, it will help his health and checking account. Anybody know about this?

On the Onset of sleeping just as I hit the sleep mode when im unaware that im asleep i hop up out my bed gasping for air with a flutter in my chest then a little afterward I get chest pains.

I took ekg ecg and blood flow test everything normal and i also took too sleep apnea test that were normal but why do i still get these things?

Ok I’ve got asthma and sometimes I wake up at 2-3AM and I can’t breathe and move at all. At first I thought this was my asthma but it was actually sleep apnea. Please help I’m only 15 and I feel like nearly every night I have a chance of “kicking the bucket”. What can i do to stop it?

I think my son may have sleep apnea. He stops breathing sometime, just for a few seconds, and he gasps for air. My husband has sleep apnea and I know what it is like. I asked my son’s doctor about it and he said it might just be reflux and switched his formula. I would just like to know it anyone else has a child this small with sleep apnea and it this sounds like what might baby might be experiencing.
