Question by xxsp311b0undxx: Do I have a Sleep Eating Disorder?
Hello i am 22 years old and this past year i noticed weird things happening. Than my uncle caught me eating sausages and peppers in my sleep the week i wanted to become a vegetarian and i was disgusted and ashamed of myself!

It all started when my family would ask me if i ate this or that last night and i would say no because i had no recollection of that. the lids on the tupperware would be open (it was always left overs.) Than my cousin and i whom i live with decided before we go on vacation to become vvegetarians Than one morning i woke up and found a plate with a roll and sausages were only left in the roll on my table next to my bed. I ignored it because i want to deny it that i have such a disorder. Than my uncle asked me “Hey i thought you were bbecominga vvegetarianI saw you eating the left overs at 3 am last night” when my only memory was turning off my tv and going to bed! I was very eembarrassedbecause i recently noticed a large weight gain that i have never had and i am disgusted with myself!

But what drew me over the edge was the other night i washed my sheets and cleaned my room, my boyfriend was sleeping over. I went in the bathroom to wash my face and i came back to turn the sheets and saw a cracker (which i dont even like) in my bed! i was like in shock and embarassed because their is my boyfriend laughing at me. than i lift my pillow and their is another than a bowl of peas and sauce from the meatloaf we had the night before under my pillow!!! like why am I doing this and I want to stop Because i cry about this and im begging my family to get a lock for the fridge so i dont eat in my sleep! this is disgusting and humiliating!

Some one please help me!

lol that is pretty crazy, either put up a video camera like the movie paranormal activity or go to the doctors.

do something like, put a pencil in the refridgerator handles, and measure the exact point on it where it is sitting on. then when you wake up, look at it and see if it moved. Then ask around and see if anyone went down to get food.

Question by Sporty25: Is not eating, causing my friend to not sleep that much as well?
My friend started this workout plan w/ her personal trainer at her gym. But all I see her eat is power bars and fruitsnacks. Nothing to much that qualifies for an actual meal. She has been working out ALOT, and she has lost a significant amount of weight which is good but she is not that fat to begin with. Im afraid she is over doing it because of stressful events in her life that have occured, mainly a guy problem. She actually went to a doctor 2 weeks ago for her sleeping disorder because she is only getting 2-3 hours a night of sleep. What is wrong with her? She is trying to be all healthy but many friends see and feel she is not eating that well and not eating is making her not sleep. What can she do to get over this? I really feel she has a big problem.

Eating less causes you to have less energy. Having less energy causes you to sleep more.
