Sleep Apnea Treatment

Question by jerry w: My parents want to come to my daughters surgery.?
Ok her surgery is just for tosnils. However it is going to be risky
because of her sleep apnea. Meaning she just might not wake up right away. And we have been told she may be in ICU.

My mother is verbally abuseive to me. Meaning for no reason she will just start cussing me. Last year was a mess I had a stillborn and she was actually laughing at my grief. making fun of me telling me oh look at me let me feel sorry for myself I lost a blob. yes she said blob. The baby was alittle girl and a stillbirth.

Anyway i do not really want them to come. Glad that they want to be there but i know it is more added stress to me I have lupus. I am married. And my husband is wonderful. How can i stand up to my parents and say in a nice way look i do not want you to come. Even though i am married and 36 years old they both treat me like a child. My parents are very controling.

Also if something were to happen to my daughter i do not think i want them there. She is only four and they have made fun of her many times. And not in a loving way. my mother tells me all the time of how she is allowed to have her favorite grand children.
She will get the first two something and sit and laugh at my daughter and say no you do not need anything..
My mother has even said well i feel sorry for the first two. they need me. The other one isnt even yours? I am a female how can she not be mine? she was at her birth. In my mothers mind she isnt mine?
And she has also told me the other two were cute. (they were from a first marriage)
my daughter is from a second marriage.
My mom will yell at my daughter for no reason. She is four and fell on some ice and my mother said stop that crying right now. your nothing but a big ole’ girl. and when my daughter says bye memaw i love you my mother will not say anything back. the child will repeat and my mom will say ok go now.

Your mother is abusing your child so Im wondering why you allow her around your children at all. It is your job to protect your children from abuse. You need to develop a backbone and tell her to get lost.

I’ve never had a sleeping disorder (even though i may have one now but i doubt it). The problem is that the less sleep i get, the harder i find it to fall asleep at night, as i’m ‘Overtired’?…
Recenlty, i’ve had bags under my eyes for prolonged amounts of time, and always seem to wake up tired…
So how can i get a good nights sleep, every night?
