Question by : why is she always tired?
Ok so my aunt is always tired she’s always yawning everytime i see her and she always has dark circles under her eyes. She has put on some weight in the recent 2 years but isnt overweight really,Shes from out of town and is a teacher. She doesnt snore loud or sometimes never at all so maybe it could be central sleep apnea but highly unlikely or maybe she does have obstructive sleep apnea and justs gasps for breath and doesnt snore I dont know.

Question by JC: My son will be three in April, he has always been small for his age, he is now 25 pounds.?
We took him to a GI doctor who said he looks healthy but is small and gave us some tips. He also referred us to ENT doctors. When we took him to ENT they xrayed him and said his adenoids were very large. He snores, gasps and wakes up in his sleep. They diagnosed him with sleep apnea. They also said he was not gaining weight because he basically cannot taste his food and he should have increased appetite and gain weight after the procedure. Has any ones child eaten better since have just their adenoids out? He had them out Friday(three days ago) and did wonderful, but he still hardly eats.

It is a little too soon yet to see much difference in his eating. It will take a little while. He is still recovering from he surgery. Make sure that you have high calorie foods available for him – full fat milk and yogurt, make smoothies for him – kids usually love those. Give it a little time, and if he still does not eat check back with the doctor again for more advice.

Question by CreativeGEEK: My Sleep Schedule is always off, why is that?
I always like to work all night, then sleep in the morning. Recently, I have acquired the habit of sleeping around 5am, then waking around 11am. Although I am told that this kind of schedule is unhealthy, I find it better than the regular schedule people keep because I love to work and study at night.
Is this kind of sleep schedule a sign of sleep disorder?

Answer by Mo a
I’m doing the samething, its quiet at night and i can really focus. but yea, i think its bad and you’re not getting enough sleep. 5-11 its only around 6. I always fall asleep in class = ( hahaha. but i don’t think it a disorder. Try to get ur sleep back on track. don’t take naps in the afternoon and sleep early at night and try to get back to sleep normally.

I don’t know about the amount of weight you need to take off, but tiredness is one symptom.
