My boyfriend has taken to hitting, pinching and kicking or slapping me in his sleep. He has no memory upon waking of having done this and does not believe me when i tell him that he has despite the bruises, etc, it does not happen all the time and only happens when he is deeply asleep, any suggestions?

My husband & I have been together for close to 4 years now & I’m at my wits end. Every morning since we’ve been married I’ve had to wake my husband up. He doesn’t hear any alarm clock & I have to sprinkle water on him, shake him, & repeatedly call his name to get him to wake up. However, he also holds conversations in his sleep so sometimes I think he’s awake when he really isn’t.
He’ll get VERY grumpy & says hurtful things during these sleep/wake episodes, & he’s shocked when I tell him about it later; he never remembers it, but he’s always deeply regretful and feels terrible about it when I tell him. He is normally a VERY considerate & loving (so PLEASE don’t tell me to leave him; I won’t).
I’ve looked at some sleeping disorder websites & nothing really seems to match; no one even addresses the anger. Does he need to do a sleep study? On the weekends I can just let him wake up on his own & he’s just fine, & he goes to sleep just fine at night too.
Any ideas?

My mind won’t let me rest. Seconds after closing my eyes I have to open them again due to the revolution of thoughts in my head… and when I’m finally exhausted enough to able to sleep, I dream… I dream all the time, thus waking up feeling like I didn’t rest at all.
I’m down to 4-6 hours to sleep daily, and less than 2 hours on the worst nights. I tried sleeping days, but I get just as much or even less rest.
I never slept much to begin with, being a light sleeper and having a tendency to sleep days and haunt at nights, but my resistance is giving in, my body is giving up.
I’ve been awake for nearly 48 hours now… I’ll try anything as long as it has nothing to do with pills or drugs.
Is there a safe natural way to relax enough to be able to rest? A way to suppress my dreams?
