  1. CAT says:

they can yes, it’s because it’s hard on the body when it has to constantly start and stop breathing, your system isn’t getting the proper rest it needs so you become lethargic.

  2. Wiliam says:

they not sleep a lot by they sleep in the day time

  3. Remy says:

If sleep apnea cause you excessive sleep… You bet it does! And let me explain you why:

If you have sleep apnea, you will feel sleepy during daytime. This symptom is also called “excessive daytime sleepiness” or EDS. EDS results mainly from sleep fragmentation, or frequent awakenings from sleep.

The cause of these awakenings (to a person with sleep apnea disorder) is repeated apnea episodes during sleep. A person with severe sleep apnea can have at least 200 awakenings in 7 hours of sleep!

Imagine yourself waking up 200 times per night. This is not a restful sleep, I tell you!

That’s why your sleep quality is so poor, and that’s why you want to sleep more in the morning and through all day. It’s no wonder why people with sleep apnea fall asleep at work, at the cinema, or while driving…
