Question by cerealkillerchicky: if the bipap machine is the only resource for sleep apnea, then what is the CPAP (continuous positive airway?
pressure) is it basically the same thing? It is listed as a separate procedure for keeping the airway open.

Yes they are basically the same,the bi pap has two pressure settings,one for inhale and one for exhale,cpap only has one setting.
