i don’t know, but that doesn’t make any sense to me..because diabeties is a blood disorder and sleep apnea is psychological…

Sleep apnea doesn’t cause diabetes persay, but it can lead to changes in the body that promote the development of diabetes.

Sleep apnea often leads to lack of energy and also hormonal changes, which can lead to weight gain (a risk factor for diabetes). The hormonal imbalances cause by getting less quality sleep seems to trigger the body to store fat (and eat more).

Sleep Apnea can cause disrupted rest. Disrupted rest can cause hormonal changes.

I totally disagree with the storage of fats under these conditions or that they promote diabetes.

But Diabetes is promoted by lack of sleep. And then the medications for diabetes cause lack of sleep in turn.

It is a no win situation no matter how it is turned.
