I’ve never had a sleeping disorder (even though i may have one now but i doubt it). The problem is that the less sleep i get, the harder i find it to fall asleep at night, as i’m ‘Overtired’?…
Recenlty, i’ve had bags under my eyes for prolonged amounts of time, and always seem to wake up tired…
So how can i get a good nights sleep, every night?
Answers greatly appreciated

Perhaps you can find some useful tips in a web search for “getting a good night’s sleep”.

    Hi,
I had the same problem of sleep disorder during my college days. Those days were stressful, studies and then uncertainty about the future. I would suggest try to relax, read a book and try to divert your mind from things that might be troubling you.
My favorite sleeping tactic was take a book and read it before going to bed. I am not talking about interesting murder mysteries but what I felt as boring history books. I slept like a baby after implementing some of these following tips:http://www.knowabouthealth.com/10-key-sl…http://www.knowabouthealth.com/cold-room…

There are many things you can try as you work out what is behind the poor sleep. In addition to exercising during the day and reading dull books before bed, look at how you wind down to sleep. Dim the lights, maybe have a warm relaxing bath, essentially send your body signals to slow down. Some foods can make you sleepy – those containing the amino acid called tryptophan, and carbohydrates. I agree, about worrying about it less, if possible. What is your bedroom environment like? Is it comfortable, quiet, dark?

Without knowing anything about you, I would suggest:
    exercising in the day
finding things to do during the day, things that occupy you
Not being worried if you have not slept – (personally I used to sleep 10 hrs but now I think 3-4 is a basic healthy minimum for a normal person. You might expect to need a lot more, but what will you do if you haven’t had more? Well, if I haven’t I say – just get on with it! I can always sleep, and now’s the time to be awake).
If there’s something you’re not happy about – and you might not realise it maybe – then it might be keeping you awake. Try to fix it, or write it down or somehow get it outside of you. While worries are circling round like a hamster in a wheel they are not getting solved, but as soon as you put it outside yourself it starts to sound silly, or at least not quite so serious, I hope. Even if it is not important I’m sure this will be useful anyway
Read on the internet about sleep advice – no caffeine, keep sleep space separate from work space, etc
What I ask myself is: “Do you want to be awake, or not?” and I guess the answer has to be yes, and I think that’s the main reason I’m not so worried about not sleeping enough.
After all that, I have to say the one thing that will give you a good night’s sleep is being happy when you are awake. Can you do that somehow?
Basically, there’s lots of ways of sleeping better but I thought the first thing would be not worrying so much if you’re not sleeping at the moment.
    Now I am hypnotising you……….you are so bored…..reading this……your eyelids are drooooooopiiiiiinnnnngggg………zzzzzz
