My boyfriend has been working the same job for 4 years and has to get up at 5am everyday and be at work at 7am but for some reason he never hears his alarm clock and has 3 set. Hes 24 and I think its pathetic that his mom and dad have to wake him up or he will miss work. sometimes he will hear it but not often. Im a very light sleeper so do not understand how his parents hear his alarms when he is downstairs n they are upstairs with their door shut! He goes to bed by 8-9pm everynight so what is the problem! He says he hits snooze in his sleep and doesnt realize it and sometimes just doesnt hear it at all!
-Hes had blood taken and isnt low on iron or anything.
1. Is this normal? Is this a sleep disorder?
2.Any suggestions or alarms that work?

I have the same problem he has. It was fixed only when I went to a neurologist and started to take sleeping pills. Now I have no problem waking up in the morning, I don’t even need an alarm clock.
His sleep is probably problematic, he may need medicine to have a healthy sleep. Take him to a neurologist and the doctor will ask him to do a polysomnography to diagnose him better.

    ist a sleepin disorder,
eventually you have to go check on that,
yet its nothing serious like insomia
    or loss of sleep
