I have a problem where I get so anxious about the next day and about the things that I will be doing to the point where my heart rate jumps and I cannot fall asleep for hours. It’s as if I’m extremely nervous about it.
It used to be only on the nights before I have a big soccer game, but now it’s almost every night. It’s gotten so bad these days that I barely had any sleep last night and couldn’t fall asleep the whole day today.
Is there a name for this disorder? In your best opinion, what should someone with this issue do?

This is an awful thing.I have it too. But,,I tried to cut back on the caffeine..coffee chocolate coke or pepsi. Also I just put the headphones on and listen to my favorite radio station the whole night.Sleep on my back propped up on 3 pillows and focus on that music…It works for me..and has done so for a couple of yearsDrugs were not the answer…they just made it worse. Laying flat makes it worse…hope this helps
