For the past year, I’ve been falling asleep in my classes, whether they are interesting or not. I’ve even fallen asleep while drawing, doing hw, attending lectures, etc. Although there are times when I pull all nighters, on days when I get 7 or 8 hours of sleep, I still manage to fall asleep in my classes. Even if I take a nap during lunch, I might still fall asleep in my afternoon classes. It’s almost like I’m sleeping all the time. The only times I DO feel awake are when:
#1: drink an energy drink
#2: wake up in the morning do to the sun
#3: randomly after falling asleep in class
#4: in front of the computer unless I only got 4-6 hours of sleep the night before.
And I’m not depressed (or at least I don’t think I am..) and I’m pretty sure I don’t have mono, otherwise I would have been knocked out for a few weeks, and not really tired all year.
So, could this possibly be some kind of sleeping disorder?

Disorder? well lets break down disorder..dis- is from the word dysfunction or disturbance. and order is how things are specifically put in a way you form your special routine. a sleep disorder? I don’t think so. Maybe since your always on drive, and you have a busy schedule you just cant fall asleep unless you do something “mind numbing” or something your truly not intrested in…i know when im in class and an instructor have a mild tone of voice and never changes a beat, it becomes hypnotic and the brain cant stay awake if nothing around you is keeping you up…lol..basically…your bored?

you should see a neurologist. I’m no doctor, but it sounds like narcolepsy to me.
