I have this sleep disorder, but I know I’m not insomnia, because I can sleep. But when I don’t get enough hours of sleep, I usually get sick in throat and nose. (Cough, and running) but it usually lasts for few hours.
I’m really tired of it, I just want to sleep for few hours and get away with it. >:]
I think it’s only for teenagers,… but I’m not sure!
I know this sleep disorder exist, because I once read a magazine about it, but I had to forgot the name. :[
Help? Ten points! Thanks! :D

  1. Doc says:

It sounds like snoring to me. That’s not a true somnipathy or sleep disorder but the vibrations caused by snoring can cause significant soreness to the mucosa in the nose and throat which can also then affect the eyes. It could also be sleep apnoea but there are no somnipathies that are exclusive to teenagers.
The other possibilities are that you have allergies or your room is too dusty or has fumes that your body doesn’t like such as: air freshener, mosquito killer, etc.
Try a room vaporiser with clean water and a little eucalyptus oil added in. This will keep the air more moist and help keep your nasal passages clear. If that doesn’t work, you may require sleep studies and possibly a sleep apnoea mask and breather.

It’s very common for people with allergies and especially hay fever to feel what you’re describing

ok you sleep but i don’t think you have a disorder… some people do get sick at night.. maybe it’s a problem with your position or your actually throat and nose..
