my boyfriend gets enough sleep but when he wakes up he feels like he never went to sleep and he’s more tired than before he went to bed.

At times I think I should ask a professional if I have sleep issues.
Im similar to the situation of your boyfriend.
I am almost always tired even if I have slept for hours and hours on end.
And it actually takes me about 3 hours to fall asleep; in those three hours my body is exhausted so I’ll be lying in my bed. But my mind will refuse to shut down and it will just keep thinking and I wont be able to sleep.
After three hours or so the exhaustion is so much that I do fall asleep…
but I still wake up tired.
I have a lot of anxiety and I think thats why my mind takes so long to stop working.
But I dont know why I wake up tired.
Its a real issue for me and Im guessing it is for your boyfriend too.
Perhaps he should ask a doctor?
