My Boyfriend Tends To Hold His Breath In His Sleep. Is This Some Kind Of Sleep Disorder?
Posted by: Alan in Sleep Disorder, tags: Boyfriend, Breath, Disorder, Hold, Kind, Sleep, Some, Tends, This
Sleep apnea. Can be central sleep apnea (from the brain) or obstructive sleep apnea (a mechanical problem). He should go to the doctor and ask to have a sleep study done, because the types of treatment are very different.

it’s called ’sleep apnia’ and while it usually isn’t serious it should be checked out. It can become a problem as he gets older.
