Sleep apnea. Can be central sleep apnea (from the brain) or obstructive sleep apnea (a mechanical problem). He should go to the doctor and ask to have a sleep study done, because the types of treatment are very different.

    it’s called ’sleep apnia’ and while it usually isn’t serious it should be checked out. It can become a problem as he gets older.

    There is medicine for it and I’ve not heard of anyone actually dying because of it: just eery as hell

    that could be a bad thing. he could stop breathing or that could be a sign of a colapsed lung that he doesnt know about
