		<description>Same thing happens to me, I also have night terrors. I jump up in a panic and have to get out of the room.  I did this once in our motor home on holidays and found myself outside with nothing on, very embarrassing! I have to take a sleep aid which helps me get through that stage between just falling asleep and a deep rem stage.  It works wonders but I hate feeling dopey all day. That jumping sensation you feel is explained in the link below.</description>

		<description>I think that maybe you are going to bed with an active brain which has not had enough time to quieten down before you need to go to sleep.
In other words, you are not properly &quot;shutting down&quot; mentally before you go to bed.
You could try making sure that for 1 hour before bedtime you focus on shutting down. Hot drink, quiet time etc. You could also try Valerian - it is a natural remedy for nervousness/stress - from a Herbalist shop. That should calm your brain down before bed. It is not addictive and should help a lot.
