nope, but that’s me and i really don’t care what people think about me. I’m gonna be me whether people like it or not.
as for you… it’s a disorder. you can’t help it. you didn’t choose to have that condition. so,what’s to be embarrassed about??
but if you’re truly embarrassed by it… try changing your daily schedule so that you go to bed at “normal times”. but don’t change what you do for everybody else’s satisfaction, the only person you should ever change for is yourself.

No. In the first place, a sleeping disorder is not an embarrassing thing. In fact it is a problem that should be addressed in the open since many people suffer from it. I’ve learned from experience that shame is a negative influence to human behavior since it prevents us from correcting what we already know is wrong, and we choose to suffer in silence instead. It would be a terrible thing to not seek medical advice to your sleeping disorder just because you are too shy to admit something is wrong with you.

A little bit. Though I work in catering, swing shift,. so my friends all stay up ’till dawn, anyway.
But, yeah, when the you answer the phone at 2 PM and you’re obviously sleep-groggy, no one thinks “oh, she works at night” — they think you’ve a lazy person.

  8. robinwri says:

you call it a disorder? is it everybody’s business to know about your privacy?

  9. carolus2 says:

just get a 2nd shift job

  10. Random says:

No ! You don’t owe an explanation for a medical condition. The only exception IMO, would be if the disorder is interfering with your responsibilities.
